Source: Date:2024年08月28日

On July 31, with the pouring of the final cubic meter of concrete, the main and auxiliary structures of Qingliangshan Station on Nanjing Metro Line 7, constructed by China Railway Tunnel Group, were successfully topped out. This station holds the title of the deepest underground metro station in China, with the most underground levels.

Located at the intersection of Guangzhou Road and Hujuling Road, Qingliangshan Station has a total length of 596.9 meters and was built using both cut-and-cover and mined construction methods. The station consists of 7 to 8 underground levels, reaching a depth of over 50 meters, making it the deepest metro station in East China. The complex construction process, coupled with the challenging surrounding environment and difficulties in land acquisition and demolition, posed significant construction challenges.
